Items and Upgrade Components in World of Warcraft
Upgrades to items can be a great way to increase the value of your weapon and armor. Upgrades to common and magic gear are rarely worthwhile, since rare or unique items will quickly outclass them.
An item can be upgraded up to six times. Each upgrade will add points to the gauge for the item's level.
Glyphs
Glyphs are upgrade materials that can be used to increase an item's attributes. Glyphs are often used to improve the performance of a weapon or armor, but they can also be used to improve a hat, ring, necklace, or other accessory. Glyphs can be found at a variety of levels and can be bought from vendors located in the city of Deneb. They are generally expensive, but are worth the investment since they can boost the stats of an item.

There are a variety of glyphs and a font could have multiple versions of each. The default glyphs in Adobe Caslon(tm) Pro, for instance, include all the regular characters, along with ornaments, swashes and fractions, and ligatures. You can view these variations in the Glyphs Panel and insert them directly into your document.
Glyph metrics are the parameters that determine how a glyph is positioned when layouts for text are created. They are determined by a mix of elements, including the advance width and side bearings. These measurements are essential to ensure that glyphs will fit properly on the screen and appear correctly in text.

Click the cycle widget to the left of "Glyphs" to take an in-depth look at the glyphs. You can then choose to view the panel in a collapsed or expanded, or only show the newly added glyphs.
Growthstones
When you upgrade a weapon, armor or accessory, you can use Growthstones to further increase the stats of the item. This process takes time, and there is a chance the item will not reach its goal level. A common headpiece, for instance, can be upgraded up to level six but not nine. The maximum upgrade level of an item is determined by its quality. Rare and Epic items can be upgraded up to level 9, whereas Uncommon items are only able to reach level 6.
You can obtain Growthstones from a variety of NPCs in major cities or from the player auction house. You can also get them as a reward from the Ancient Arena Season. These items can be used to boost skills that are passive, and also to upgrade weapons and armor.
Once you have enough Growthstones, you can visit any Equipment Enchanting NPC to boost your gear's upgrade levels. Different types of armor, weapons and accessories require different Growthstones. While you can upgrade your equipment and abilities at these NPCs however, you'll need to spend a significant amount of money to do so. Each upgrade level is priced at certain amounts of Valorstones, or crests. Weapons are typically the most expensive. You'll also have to complete certain quests in order to obtain the items. For instance, if are looking to upgrade your armor, you will require one of three Power Dices dropped by monsters 21 and above in addition to some Erons and Minerals.
Recycled Items
Recycled items are constructed either in whole or in part of materials that would have otherwise been to be discarded. These materials include paper, plastics and glass bottles. Many other things can be reused, from steel to automobiles and asphalt.
To ensure that your recycling is being utilized in the most effective method, it is crucial to know which items can be recycled and which items are not recyclable. For instance, putting paper in your recycling bin could cause damage to recycling equipment and create tangling problems for recycling facilities. Utilize cloth towels or recycled grocery bags to cut down on the amount of plastics that end up in your trash. Wire hangers may also cause fires in recycling bins, and pose other hazards to facilities that handle recyclables.
The best practice is to only recycle items that your local recycling program will accept. You can look online for a list of acceptable items in your region. Paper bags tissues boxes, Tin cans are typically recyclable. Glass food and beverage containers are also acceptable, but they must be cleaned prior to being put in the recycling bin.
Batteries plastic grocery bags, plastic batteries and wire hangers are all items that shouldn't be recycled. These items can ignite at recycling facilities and cause tangles to trucks and recycling equipment. You should instead bring them to the nearest recycling drop-off location.
Suffix
Suffixes can serve as upgrade components to improve weapons and armor. They can be salvaged from items that contain them, or purchased from a merchant with Salvage Kit. Upgrades are color-coded to indicate which item types they can be applied to. The upgraded items are able to be sold to merchant for gold. Upgrades can be made with two prefixes, and a suffix. Upgrades are only available to items that have an average rarity of blue or more which includes items that drop from chests at the end in Factions and Nightfall campaign. Items that have upgrade components cannot be used to craft new items.
A suffix is a term or group of letters that gives meaning to a word that is larger like -tion in the verb create or -phoria in the noun feeling. upgrade item can also change the speech part of a word, like German's -ismus or English's. They can even re-write words, such as the adjective defenseless becoming unprotected.
There are upgrade item ranging from nouns, verbs, adjectives and adverbs. The addition of suffixes to words can alter their meaning or pronunciation and some even have rules that apply. Suffixes are also used to alter the grammatical rules such as adding the suffix -ness words to make them an adjective or -ic to a noun to make it possessive.
Suffixes can be used to give a new meaning to words, but can be used to add names of people and places. A single man could have the surname "Paulauskaite" for instance, whereas a woman married will have "Paulauskiene".
The most commonly used suffixes are those that indicate the status of a person like -ion, ism, -ist, and -es. They can also be used as a way to define a person's personality characteristics, such as -iveness or -phoria.
Affixes to items can be used to give armor and weapons additional parameters. They can be a combination between one or more suffixes or prefixes. For example, -Fiery increases atk power by introducing fire elemental damage. Affixes for items are available for most items that are level 80, except for crafted ascended armor and crafted trinkets.
