Items and Upgrade Components in World of Warcraft
Upgrades to items can be a great way to increase the value of your weapon and armor. However, upgrading magic and common equipment is not worth the cost as rare or unique equipment can quickly surpass it.
An item can be upgraded up to six times. Each upgrade adds points to the gauge of level of the item.
Glyphs
